PUCC was established in April, 2005 with the support of universities (e.g. Kyoto University, Keio University and Shizuoka University) and companies (e.g. Ericsson, NTT DoCoMo, NTT EAST, Mitsubishi, Toshiba, Epson and Sharp).

Specification Release

[4] PUCC Specifications Release 3 was developed and publically available, in December, 2020.
[3] PUCC Specifications Release 3 was developed and publically available, in April, 2015.

International Standardization

[3] PUCC Specifications were adopted as the base specifications for Open Mobile Alliance (OMA) Converged Personal Area Network Service (CPNS) 1.0, in October, 2012.
[2] PUCC has established the liaison relationship with OMA, in 2010.
[1] PUCC has established the liaison relationship with Continua Healthcare Alliance, in 2009.
